12wk/18wk Comparison

18 week pics

18 Week Weigh-In

SW: 323lbs
6 week: -10lbs/313lb
12 week: -8lbs/307
18 week:-5lbs/302
GW: 150lbs

I must admit I am a little upset with not reaching my goal of being under 300 but I know next time I will be because seeing that number pushes me to push harder. I still lost and that works for me. I am 152lbs away from goal. That is a BIG number but I can do it.

Chicago/Hershey Store

So we went into the hershey store and I was in heaven. It smelled so good but I did not buy anything just posed with a few things. haha. They have a 1lb Reese that comes with 2 reese cups (so each cup is 1/2lb) I could not even imagine eating that. Then there was the bakery with these amazing looking cupcakes and HUGE cookies. But I said "NO". Here are some pics......

Illinois Marathon

I am planning on doing the Illinois 5k Marathon which happens to fall on my 27th birthday (April 29).
I could not think of a better gift to give myself than to do my first ever 5k marathon. We are pulling a team together at the gym and am super stoked.

Check out: http://www.illinoismarathon.com/

for more info. If you can't participate volunteer and come cheer us on:))))

Beat my 24minute mile by 5 minutes

So I had to post about this......I have started to run on the treadmill granted it is not for long periods of time but the fact I am even running makes me HAPPY:)))))) I was able to do a 19 minute mile which normally takes me 23 minutes. I felt great and pushed myself to run for a longer period of time. The longest I was able to do was 2 minutes which is still AMAZING for me. I just want to remind everyone you can do what you push yourself to do. Have a great day:))))

Fight for AIR

So this post is about an upcoming event for the American Lung Association called Fight for Air. This event consists of climbing 30 flights of stairs at the Hilton Hotel in Springfield, IL. I have asked my fellow Heavy to Healthy gym mates to attend this with me. I think it will be AMAZING to say I was able to climb 30 flights of stairs and that I did it with my friends. You do need a minium of $100 dollars to fight the cause and can raise more but I just need this in order to push myself harder and get out there in the community. It may take me longer than others but the fact that I can get out there and do it is what matters. :)))))))
